Description
A simple and delicious deer roast cooked in a crockpot for tender, flavorful results.
Ingredients

- 2–3 lbs deer roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 potatoes, cubed
Instructions
- Place onions and garlic at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add deer roast on top.
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Add carrots and potatoes around the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Shred or slice the roast before serving.
Notes
- Marinate the roast overnight for extra flavor.
- Add more broth if needed during cooking.
- Serve with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes.
