Description

A simple and delicious deer roast cooked in a crockpot for tender, flavorful results.


Ingredients

  • 23 lbs deer roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, cubed

Instructions

  1. Place onions and garlic at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add deer roast on top.
  3. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
  4. Sprinkle salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  5. Add carrots and potatoes around the roast.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  7. Shred or slice the roast before serving.
