- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- White food coloring (optional)
- Edible white glitter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with flour.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before applying edible glitter.
- Decorate with white glitter and serve.
Notes
- Use a heart-shaped pan for best results.
- Add white food coloring for a pure white base.
- Apply glitter gently to avoid clumping.
