Description

Delightful bite-sized cake pops perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations. These treats are fun to make and share.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup frosting (any flavor)
  • 2 cups candy melts (pink or red)
  • 24 lollipop sticks
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake as per package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in the frosting until the mixture holds together.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a tray.
  5. Chill the balls in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Dip the tip of each lollipop stick in the melted candy and insert it into a cake ball.
  8. Dip each cake pop in the melted candy, tap off excess, and decorate with sprinkles.
  9. Let them set on parchment paper for 10 minutes.

Notes

  • Use a Styrofoam block to hold the cake pops while they set.
  • If the mixture is too sticky, chill it before rolling.
