Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Add a few drops of pink food coloring if desired.
- Roll out dough and cut into heart shapes.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Decorate with heart-shaped sprinkles while still warm.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For a richer taste, substitute vanilla extract with almond extract.
