Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
- Divide dough into two portions. Add red food coloring to one and pink to the other.
- Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into heart shapes.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make icing. Drizzle over cookies and add sprinkles if desired.
