Delicious and easy-to-make dessert bars perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla in a bowl until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and drizzle caramel sauce over the crust.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the caramel.
- Bake for another 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Replace pecans with walnuts if preferred.
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the crust.
