A delicious dessert bar perfect for Thanksgiving gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, butter, sugars, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
- Press mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- You can substitute walnuts for pecans if preferred.
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the dough.
