Delicious cake pops perfect for Thanksgiving celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 can vanilla frosting
- 1 lb candy melts (orange or brown)
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix cake mix, water, oil, and eggs.
- Pour batter into greased pan and bake for 25 minutes.
- Crumble cooled cake into fine crumbs.
- Mix crumbs with frosting until dough forms.
- Roll mixture into small balls.
- Melt candy melts in microwave.
- Dip lollipop sticks in melted candy and insert into cake balls.
- Chill cake pops for 10 minutes.
- Dip cake pops fully in melted candy and decorate.
- Let dry upright in foam block.
Notes
- Use toothpick to smooth candy coating.
- Store in airtight container.
- Can use chocolate cake mix instead.
