Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Alternate adding milk and strawberry puree, mixing until smooth.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool before frosting.
