- 200g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 packs of instant ramen noodles
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 soft-boiled egg (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat and grill the beef for 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside.
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream.
- Add the cooked noodles to the broth and let them soak for 1-2 minutes.
- Divide the noodles and broth into bowls, top with grilled beef, green onions, sesame seeds, and a soft-boiled egg if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less gochujang.
- Use fresh ramen noodles for a better texture.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar to the broth.
