Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Red food coloring (optional)
- Heart-shaped cake molds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease heart-shaped molds.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
- Mix in vanilla and milk.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Add red food coloring if desired.
- Pour batter into molds, filling halfway.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before removing from molds.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for vibrant color.
- Decorate with frosting or sprinkles.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
