Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.
  4. Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
  5. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve hot with optional toppings like cheese or sour cream.
