- 2 lbs boneless chicken breasts
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Place chicken, peppers, and onions in slow cooker.
- Season with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Cook on low for 6 hours.
- Shred chicken with forks.
- Toast hoagie rolls.
- Top rolls with chicken mixture and provolone cheese.
- Broil for 2 minutes to melt cheese.
Notes
- Chicken can be substituted with beef.
- Add mushrooms for extra flavor.
