- 4 boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 cup marsala wine
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in marsala wine and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth and orzo, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet.
- Cook for another 5 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and orzo is tender.
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use dry marsala wine for best flavor.
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if preferred.
