Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken
  • 1 cup marsala wine
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in marsala wine and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Add chicken broth and orzo, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet.
  8. Cook for another 5 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and orzo is tender.
  9. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
