- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer.
