Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. Add red food coloring to one portion.
- Alternate spoonfuls of red and white batter into each cupcake liner.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
- For the frosting, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla.
- Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired.
