Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • White frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a heart-shaped cake pan.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk. Mix in vanilla.
  5. Divide batter in half. Color one portion red.
  6. Pour batters into pan in alternating spoonfuls.
  7. Bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool completely before frosting with white frosting.
