- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Red food coloring
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup heart-shaped sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients. Divide dough in half.
- Add red food coloring to one half for the ‘sauce.’ Leave the other half plain.
- Roll out dough and cut into heart shapes. Place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool completely.
- Melt white chocolate and drizzle over cookies for ‘cheese.’
- Add marshmallows and sprinkles as toppings.
- Let chocolate set before serving.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for vibrant color.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes if too soft.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
