- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, softened butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly.
- Press into an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Beat eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in pecans and pour over the crust.
- Bake for another 20 minutes or until set.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Substitute walnuts if pecans are unavailable.
