Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can (15 oz) pizza sauce
  • 1 package (16 oz) penne pasta
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  3. Brown ground beef and sausage in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in pizza sauce and cooked pasta.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top with pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
