A hearty meat lovers pizza casserole packed with flavor and easy to make.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can (15 oz) pizza sauce
- 1 package (16 oz) penne pasta
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
- Brown ground beef and sausage in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in pizza sauce and cooked pasta.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef if preferred.
- Add mushrooms or olives for extra flavor.
- Leftovers keep well refrigerated for up to 3 days.
