Instructions

- Add eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Slowly add hot water and black food coloring. Beat on high for 1 minute.
- Pour batter evenly into prepared pans.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool cakes completely before frosting.
