- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add vanilla, egg, and egg yolk to the butter mixture.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Scoop large dough balls onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool before serving.

- For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
