  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix butter, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Rub the butter mixture under and over the turkey skin.
  5. Stuff the turkey cavity with lemon, onion, and garlic.
  6. Place turkey on a roasting rack in a pan.
  7. Pour chicken broth into the pan.
  8. Roast for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
  9. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  10. Rest for 20 minutes before carving.
