A refreshing homemade lime sorbet, perfect for a light and tangy dessert.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh lime juice (about 6–8 limes)
- 1 tbsp lime zest
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves completely. Let the syrup cool.
- Stir in lime juice and zest into the cooled syrup.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. Churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a freezer-safe container. Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar to taste if limes are very tart.
- If you don’t have an ice cream maker, freeze the mixture in a shallow dish, stirring every 30 minutes until set.
