Ingredients

  • 6 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Spread melted dark chocolate evenly on the parchment paper.
  4. Let it cool and harden for 15 minutes.
  5. Melt white chocolate in a separate bowl, then stir in peppermint extract.
  6. Pour white chocolate over the hardened dark chocolate and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
  8. Press lightly to help them stick.
  9. Let it set completely, about 1 hour.
  10. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out bark pieces.
