- 6 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Spread melted dark chocolate evenly on the parchment paper.
- Let it cool and harden for 15 minutes.
- Melt white chocolate in a separate bowl, then stir in peppermint extract.
- Pour white chocolate over the hardened dark chocolate and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
- Press lightly to help them stick.
- Let it set completely, about 1 hour.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out bark pieces.
