- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup red wine (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add minced garlic and butter, baste the steaks with the melted butter.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, sauté asparagus in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes.
- Plate the steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus.
- Drizzle with red wine reduction if desired.
