Description
A festive cranberry appetizer that’s both delicious and easy to prepare.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- Crackers or toasted bread for serving
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens (about 10 minutes).
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Spread cream cheese on serving plate.
- Top with cooled cranberry mixture.
- Serve with crackers or toasted bread.
Notes
- Can be made 1 day ahead.
- Store covered in refrigerator.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
