Ingredients

- 1 lb beef tenderloin
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Rub beef with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Sear beef in a hot pan for 2 minutes per side.
- Add garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the pan.
- Deglaze with red wine and beef broth.
- Transfer to the oven and roast for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice and serve with pan sauce.
