- 1 cup water
- 1 orange (zest and juice)
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse cranberries and discard any soft or spoiled ones.
- Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cranberries burst.
- Stir in orange zest and juice.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
- Remove cinnamon stick before serving.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to taste if cranberries are too tart.
