Easy and tender chuck steak cooked in a crockpot with simple ingredients.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chuck steak
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the chuck steak on both sides.
- Place the steak in the crockpot.
- Add onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the meat with forks before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add carrots and potatoes.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Freeze cooked steak for up to 2 months.
