Easy and tender chuck steak cooked in a crockpot with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chuck steak
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the chuck steak on both sides.
  2. Place the steak in the crockpot.
  3. Add onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Shred the meat with forks before serving.
