Easy-to-make chocolate truffles perfect for Christmas gifting or holiday treats.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g dark chocolate
- 100ml heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 50g cocoa powder
- 50g powdered sugar
Instructions
- Chop chocolate into small pieces
- Heat cream until steaming
- Pour hot cream over chocolate, let sit for 2 minutes
- Stir until smooth
- Add butter and mix well
- Refrigerate for 2 hours
- Roll into balls using hands
- Coat with cocoa powder or powdered sugar
Notes
- Store in airtight container in refrigerator
- Can be made 3 days in advance
- For firmer truffles, freeze for 30 minutes before rolling
