- 3 lbs beef roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in the crockpot.
- Add onion, carrots, and potatoes around the roast.
- Pour beef broth over the roast and vegetables.
- Sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Remove the roast and vegetables, then serve.
Notes
- Use a lean cut of beef for better results.
- You can add other vegetables like celery or mushrooms.
- Shred the beef for sandwiches if desired.
