Description

Delicious chocolate brownie nests filled with mini eggs, perfect for Easter celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 100g butter
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 85g plain flour
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 36 mini chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan).
  2. Melt chocolate and butter in a bowl over simmering water.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. Sift in flour and cocoa powder, then add vanilla.
  6. Spoon mixture into 12 cupcake cases.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes until firm.
  8. Press 3 mini eggs into each nest while warm.
  9. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Use milk chocolate if you prefer sweeter nests.
  • Add shredded coconut for extra texture.
