- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup red wine (optional)
Instructions
- Place beef cubes, onion, and garlic in the crockpot.
- Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in red wine if using.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Serve hot with pasta or crusty bread.

- For extra flavor, brown the beef before adding to the crockpot.
