Ingredients

- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, and black pepper to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Stir in the egg noodles, butter, and heavy cream.
- Cover and cook for another 30 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker stew, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir in before serving.
- Substitute vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
