Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Add orzo, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  5. Shred chicken and mix back into the orzo.
