- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- Pour chicken broth and heavy cream over the chicken.
- Add dry ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir lightly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Freeze for up to 2 months in an airtight container.
