Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Pour heavy cream into the pan and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  6. Return cooked shrimp and pasta to the pan. Toss until well coated.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
