- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut bread into cubes and spread half in a greased baking dish.
- Spread cream cheese over the bread cubes.
- Top with remaining bread cubes.
- Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Pour mixture over the bread and press down gently.
- Drizzle melted butter on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Let the casserole sit for 10 minutes before baking for even soaking.
- Top with maple syrup or fresh berries before serving.
