Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until dough forms. Add green food coloring.
- Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into tree shapes with cookie cutters.
- Place cookies on baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely before decorating with icing and sprinkles.
