- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup jam (raspberry, strawberry, or apricot)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg yolks and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets. Press your thumb into each to create an indentation.
- Fill each indentation with 1/2 tsp jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool before serving.
Notes
- Use any jam flavor you prefer for variety.
- Dough can be refrigerated for 30 minutes if too soft.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
