Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Stir well.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a roll and place on a baking sheet.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brush rolls with melted butter after baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Freeze unbaked rolls for later use.
