- 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
- Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a festive touch, add red and green sprinkles to the batter.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Serve with whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
