- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 tbsp rosemary, chopped
- 2 tbsp thyme, chopped
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 6 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 lb green beans, steamed
- 2 cups stuffing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Rub turkey with butter, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place turkey in roasting pan and pour chicken broth over it.
- Roast for 3-4 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Prepare mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, and stuffing separately.
- Carve turkey and serve with sides.
Notes
- Let turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches or soups.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
