- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup mixed candied fruits
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture. Stir in candied fruits and nuts.
- Pour batter into the pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- Substitute candied fruits with dried fruits if preferred.
- Add a dusting of powdered sugar for decoration.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
