Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- Red and green food coloring
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tbsp butter (for frosting)
- 1–2 tbsp milk (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing just until combined.
- Divide batter into two bowls. Add red food coloring to one and green to the other.
- Spoon batters into liners, alternating colors. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
- For frosting, beat powdered sugar, butter, and milk until smooth. Pipe onto cupcakes.

- Use gel food coloring for vibrant colors.
- Decorate with sprinkles or edible glitter for extra festivity.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
