Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing just until combined.
  5. Divide batter into two bowls. Add red food coloring to one and green to the other.
  6. Spoon batters into liners, alternating colors. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  7. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  8. For frosting, beat powdered sugar, butter, and milk until smooth. Pipe onto cupcakes.
