Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
- Cut French bread into 1-inch cubes and spread evenly in the dish.
- Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, then sprinkle over bread.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over bread and sausage.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until eggs are set.
