- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the beef to the crockpot.
- Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Stir in the chilli powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For a spicier chilli, add chopped jalapeños or extra chilli powder.
- This recipe can be made vegetarian by substituting the ground beef with plant-based meat.
