- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cup piloncillo or brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat milk in a pot over medium heat
- Whisk masa harina with 1 cup water until smooth
- Add masa mixture to the milk
- Stir in cocoa powder, cinnamon, and sugar
- Cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly
- Remove cinnamon stick
- Serve hot
