Ingredients

- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until caramelized, about 25 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Gruyere, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Stir in caramelized onions.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
- Serve warm with bread or crackers.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven for best texture.
