Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onions, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until caramelized, about 25 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Mix Gruyere, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  5. Stir in caramelized onions.
  6. Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with bread or crackers.
